Moshi - Marangu Gate to Mandara Hut
The journey kicks off as we drive to the Marangu Gate, the starting point of the Marangu Route. Trek through lush rainforests, observing exotic flora and fauna, before reaching Mandara Hut for a well-deserved rest.
Mandara Hut to Horombo Hut
Continue your ascent through the moorland, enjoying panoramic views of Kilimanjaro. Arrive at Horombo Hut, situated on a plateau with breathtaking vistas of the surrounding landscapes.
Horombo Hut to Kibo Hut
Ascend to the barren lunar landscape of the Saddle, a surreal and challenging stretch leading to Kibo Hut. As you approach the summit, acclimatize to the increasing altitude and revel in the sense of accomplishment.
Kibo Hut to Uhuru Peak (Summit Point) - Back to Horombo Hut
The pinnacle of the journey! Conquer Uhuru Peak, standing at 5,895 meters, and savor the awe-inspiring views. Descend to Kibo Hut and continue back to the comforts of Horombo Hut.
Horombo Hut to Mandara Hut - Marangu Gate - Back to Moshi/Arusha
Descend through the vibrant landscapes, passing Mandara Hut and reaching the Marangu Gate. Celebrate your triumph and return to Moshi or Arusha with memories to last a lifetime.
