Itinerary
Moshi - Marangu Gate - Mandara Hut
Embark on the trek at Marangu Gate, the starting point of the Marangu Route. Hike through lush rainforests, and reach Mandara Hut, situated at a moderate altitude. Experience the change in climate as you ascend.
Mandara Hut - Horombo Hut
Continue your ascent through moorland landscapes, reaching the Horombo Hut. Enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding peaks, and immerse yourself in the unique flora and fauna of Kilimanjaro.
Horombo Hut - Mawenzi - Back to Horombo Hut (full day Acclimatization Day)
Spend a full day acclimatizing at Horombo Hut, exploring the Mawenzi region. Acquire the necessary adaptation to higher altitudes, ensuring a safer and more enjoyable climb.
Horombo Hut - Kibo Hut
Ascend to Kibo Hut, positioned at the base of Kilimanjaro's summit cone. The landscape transforms into an alpine desert as you approach the challenging final ascent.
Kibo Hut - Uhuru Peak (summit point) - Back to Horombo Hut

Horombo Hut - Mandara Hut - Marangu Gate - Back to Moshi/Arusha
