Itinerary
Moshi - Marangu Gate - Mandara Hut
The trek kicks off at Marangu Gate, leading through dense rainforests to Mandara Hut. Marvel at the flora and fauna while acclimating to the altitude.
Mandara Hut - Horombo Hut
Continue the ascent through moorland landscapes, enjoying panoramic views. Horombo Hut, situated at a higher altitude, aids in acclimatization.
Horombo Hut - Mawenzi Ridge - Back to Horombo Hut (Full Day Acclimatization Day)
Dedicate a day to acclimatization with a trek to Mawenzi, providing stunning vistas. Return to Horombo Hut for rest and preparation.
Horombo Hut - Kibo Hut
Ascend to the barren lunar landscape of Kibo Hut, positioned at the base of Kilimanjaro's summit cone.
Kibo Hut - Uhuru Peak (Summit Point) - Back to Horombo Hut
The pinnacle of the journey. Summit Uhuru Peak at sunrise, revel in the accomplishment, and descend to Horombo Hut.
Horombo Hut - Mandara Hut - Marangu Gate - Back to Moshi/Arusha
Descend through Mandara Hut, concluding at Marangu Gate. Transfer back to Moshi/Arusha, celebrating your successful Kilimanjaro adventure.
