Moshi/Arusha toMachame Gate to Machame Camp
Temperature: Ranges from 25°C to 15°C. Height: The Machame Gate is situated at 1,800 meters above sea level. Distance: About 50 kilometers from Moshi. Your journey begins at Machame Gate, trekking through lush rainforests to reach Machame Camp. The sights and sounds of Kilimanjaro's diverse ecosystem accompany your ascent.
Machame Camp to Shira 2 Camp
Temperature: Averages between 20°C and 10°C. Height: Ascend to 3,850 meters at Shira 2 Camp. Distance: Approximately 15 kilometers. Traverse the heath and moorland landscapes, catching glimpses of the imposing Shira Plateau as you make your way to Shira 2 Camp.
Shira 2 Camp to Lava Tower to Barranco Camp
Temperature: Varies from 15°C to 5°C. Height: Ascend to 4,600 meters at Lava Tower before descending to 3,960 meters at Barranco Camp. Distance: Around 10 kilometers. Karanga camp to Barafu Camp

Barafu Camp to Uhuru Peak (Summit Point) Mweka Camp

Mweka Camp to Mweka Gate Back to Moshi
Temperature: Varies from 15°C to 25°C. Height: Descend to 1,640 meters at Mweka Gate. Distance: Approximately 10 kilometers. Complete your descent through the rainforest, reaching Mweka Gate. Celebrate your triumph and transfer back to Moshi, reflecting on the incredible journey.
