Itinerary
Moshi – Londorossi Gate – Big Tree Camp
Embark on the trail at Londorossi Gate, marking the start of the Northern Circuit Route. Trek through lush rainforests, with the Big Tree Camp as your first night's campsite.
Mti Mkubwa – Shira 1 Camp
Ascend to Mti Mkubwa and transition into the heath and moorland zone. Camp at Shira 1, surrounded by expansive vistas.
Shira 1 Camp – Lava Tower – Moir Hut
Navigate through the scenic Shira Plateau, ascend Lava Tower, and rest at Moir Hut in the alpine desert zone.
Moir Hut – Buffalo Camp
Journey through rugged terrain to Buffalo Camp, surrounded by stunning landscapes and the allure of Kilimanjaro's northern face.
Buffalo Camp – Third Cave
Descend to the Barranco Valley, pass unique flora, and reach Third Cave, set against a backdrop of impressive rock formations.
Third Cave – School Hut

School Hut – Uhuru Peak – Mweka Camp
The summit day! Conquer Uhuru Peak, the roof of Africa. Descend to Mweka Camp for a well-deserved rest, surrounded by the lush Mweka rainforest.
Mweka Camp – Mweka Gate – Back to Moshi/Arusha
Complete the trek by descending through the rainforest to Mweka Gate. Transfer back to Moshi or Arusha, reflecting on the extraordinary journey.
