Itinerary
Moshi/Arusha – Londorossi gate – Mti Mkubwa (Big Tree)
The journey officially begins as you head to the Londorossi gate. From there, delve into the lush rainforest, trekking towards Mti Mkubwa. Witness the dramatic change in scenery as you transition from urban life to the serenity of the forest.
Mti Mkubwa – Shira 1 Camp
The trail leads to Shira 1 Camp, passing through the heath and moorland zones. Marvel at the expansive Shira Plateau, a prelude to the awe-inspiring landscapes awaiting you further up.
Shira 1 Camp – Moir Hut
As you ascend, the landscape transforms into an otherworldly scene. Reach Moir Hut, surrounded by bizarre rock formations, and experience the magic of Kilimanjaro's unique geography.
Moir Hut – Lava Tower – Barranco Camp
Challenge yourself with a climb to Lava Tower, standing at an impressive 4,600 meters. Descend to Barranco Camp, surrounded by towering cliffs, preparing for the renowned Barranco Wall climb the next day.
Barranco Camp – Karanga Camp
Navigate the Barranco Wall, a thrilling climb that rewards you with panoramic views. The journey continues to Karanga Camp, set against a backdrop of glaciers and glaciers.
Karanga Camp Barafu Camp
Ascend to Barafu Camp, the base for your final push to the summit. Feel the anticipation building as Uhuru Peak comes into view.
Barafu Camp – Uhuru Peak – Back to Barafu Camp Mweka Camp
The most challenging day awaits as you summit Uhuru Peak, the Roof of Africa. Descend to Barafu Camp and further down to Mweka Camp, celebrating your achievement amidst the spectacular landscapes.
Mweka Camp – Mweka Gate Moshi
Moshi Conclude your journey by descending through the rainforest to Mweka Gate, where you will receive a well-deserved certificate of accomplishment
