Itinerary
Moshi/ Arusha Machame gate Machame camp:
Embark on your journey at Machame gate, the starting point of the Machame Route. Trek through lush rainforests, witnessing diverse flora and fauna, and reach Machame camp for an overnight stay
Machame camp Shira 2 camp:
Ascend through moorland landscapes, enjoying panoramic views of Kilimanjaro. Reach Shira 2 camp, where the air thins, and the scenery transforms into an otherworldly beauty.
Shira 2 camp Lava tower Barranco camp:
Hike to Lava tower, a striking volcanic formation, before descending to Barranco camp. Traverse the Barranco Wall, a challenging yet thrilling climb, and rest at Barranco camp surrounded by stunning alpine landscapes.
: Barranco camp Karanga Barafu camp:
Continue the journey to Karanga Valley and ascend to Barafu camp, located at the base of the summit. As you prepare for the final ascent, the air becomes thinner, and the landscape more rugged.
Barafu camp Uhuru Peak (summit point) Back to Barafu camp then to Mweka camp
The pinnacle of your adventure! Summit Uhuru Peak and bask in the glory of conquering Africa's highest point. Descend to Barafu camp, then continue to Mweka camp for a well-deserved rest
Mweka camp Mweka gate Back to Moshi
Descend through lush rainforests to Mweka gate, where your adventure concludes. Return to Moshi, reflecting on the incredible journey and the summit conquered
