Moshi/Arusha - Machame gate - Machame camp
Temperature: Ranges from 25°C to 30°C Height: Machame gate is at 1,490 meters above sea level. Distance: Trek approximately 11 kilometers. Introduction: Start your trek at the Machame gate, where lush rainforest surroundings greet you. Hike to Machame camp, surrounded by the beauty of the foothills.
Machame camp - Shira 2 camp
Temperature: Around 15°C to 20°C Height: Shira 2 camp is located at 3,850 meters. Distance: Trek approximately 5 kilometers. Introduction: Ascend through moorland, gaining elevation and witnessing the transition from lush greenery to more open landscapes.
Shira 2 camp - Lava tower - Barranco camp
Temperature: Varies from 10°C to 20°C Height: Lava tower is at 4,600 meters, while Barranco camp is at 3,960 meters. Distance: Hike about 10 kilometers. Barranco camp - Karanga
