Itinerary
: Moshi – Londorossi gate – Big Tree Camp
Embarking on the trek, you will drive to the Londorossi gate, the entry to Kilimanjaro's Northern Circuit. The day's journey introduces lush rainforests, teeming with vibrant vegetation. Expect temperatures around 20°C.
: Mti Mkubwa to Shira 1 camp
Ascending through the rainforest, you will reach Mti Mkubwa, revealing a transition to moorland. Shira 1 camp sits at an altitude of approximately 3,500 meters, offering breathtaking views of the Shira Plateau. Temperatures drop, averaging 10-15°C.
: Shira 1 camp – Lava Tower – Moir Hut
Traversing the Shira Plateau, you will climb to the striking Lava Tower, standing at 4,630 meters. As you approach Moir Hut, the landscape shifts to alpine desert, characterized by sparse vegetation. Temperatures may vary between 5-10°C.
Moir Hut – Buffalo Camp

: Mweka Camp – Mweka Gate – Back to Moshi/Arusha
